Ramy Akladios
Ramy is the principal lawyer at Akladios Law. He brings years of experience in civil litigation and high-value personal injury and disability claims. He understands the importance of his clients being comfortable throughout the process while he focuses on ensuring they receive fair compensation.
Prior to starting Akladios Law, Ramy litigated personal injury and disability claims extensively at plaintiff firms throughout the GTA. He has appeared regularly at the Superior Court of Justice, and various Ontario tribunals including the License Appeal Tribunal. He has argued various issues inside the courtroom and tribunals, such as liability in motor vehicle accident claims, and entitlement to medical benefits and income benefits in accident benefits claims.
He graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and he then went on to obtain his legal education from the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom.
When he is not working, Ramy enjoys staying active. He is a fitness enthusiast.
He is fluent in Arabic and is able to help Arabic-speaking clients in their native language.
Shams Ismail
Shams is a licensed Paralegal at Akladios Law. She assists clients with personal injury matters and is dedicated to helping clients navigate the legal process with professionalism and care.
Prior to joining Akladios Law, Shams gained experience working on criminal, civil litigation, and personal injury matters. She assists with client communication, medical and insurance documentation, and tribunal-related matters.
Shams completed her legal education at Humber Polytechnic’s Paralegal Education program and is continuing her studies at York University as she pursues her long-term goal of becoming a lawyer.
She is fluent in English, Turkish, and Arabic, and is able to assist clients in their native language.
